A library card is available to anyone who lives or owns property in York Township. You may get a library card free of charge, as part of your tax-supported library service. To get a card, bring in a current Illinois Driver's License or photo I.D. You may also check out materials using any current Illinois library card as part of our reciprocal borrowing program.
Books, magazines and cd's may be borrowed for 14 days. Fines; 10 cents per item per day. DVD's - 5 days. Fines; 25 cents per item per day. Interlibrary Loan: Our library will try to obtain for you from other libraries any materials that we do not have available in house.Non-Print Materials: The library has a variety of non-print materials available for check out: DVD's and books on CD. Member of the Carroll County Audio book Consortium.
The library has a book drop that can be used anytime of the day or night to return materials.
The library has 6 computer terminals dedicated to the public for internet access. Three of these are Google Chrome boxes.
The library provides wireless internet access. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building, to anyone who has the necessary devices and software. Contact a staff member for the password.
The library has over 20 titles covering a variety of subjects.
The cost per copy is 15 cents.
The library has faxing services available.
The meeting room may be scheduled for use by local non-profit organizations. To schedule a time, please contact the library.
